These texts provide additional folklore about Jesus' birth and youthful adventures, which are absent from the traditional narrative. Additionally, noteworthy manuscripts include the disputed letters of Paul and Seneca, as well as the letters of Herod and Pilate, which are widely believed to be forgeries but contribute to the ongoing exploration of Jesus' historicity. Furthermore, several non-canonical epistles, including Laodiceans, offer an intriguing perspective. The three books of the Shepherd of Hermas are also worth careful examination as they employ apocalyptic and symbolic imagery.
